Speaking at St. Mark’s Mother/Daughter Tea

Today I had the great privilege of speaking at the Mother/Daughter Tea at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church south of Fort Wayne. It was great fun and I met many interesting ladies. It was an opportunity to wear a pretty hat and I wore one that had belonged to Mom. I spoke on the theme of ‘Bored? Or Boring into God’s Plan for your life?’

The organizers spent much time decorating and advertising so it was an honor to participate in this momentous event with them.

I’m looking for other places to speak on a variety of subjects

  • importance of reading and writing (children; school groups)
  • what it’s like to write a book (adults and/or children)
  • Stitches of Hope – a non-profit group that creates caps for people who lose hair from cancer
  • Finding God’s will for our lives

If your group has another subject you could use a speaker for, please let me know. We may be able to work together!
