WWII Vets Describe the War in Their Own Words

To give you a chance to hear first-hand from some of the amazing veterans I’ve interviewed, I’ve created a Youtube Channel. It contains short (no more than 5 minutes) videos shot at the end of interviews with veterans about what they remembered and thought of their military service during World War II more than 70 years later.

Click here to go to my Youtube Channel.

These short videos are sure to give you a window into the variety of stories I had the privilege of hearing. There are also some segments at this Channel from talks I’ve given about my World War II books and the World War II Tour of Europe my husband and I completed.

Contact me at KayleenReusser AT gmail.com for info about hiring me for a talk (in-person & virtual).

Subscribe to my Youtube Channel to receive notices of when more videos are added. You won’t want to miss one! Please Like and Share after listening.

Current videos include:

Eileen Zeissig served as an Army nurse in the US and Europe during WWII. Her story is in ‘They Did It for Honor: Stories of American WWII Veterans.’
  • Army nurse who served in Europe
Millard Schwartz served with the Army in Europe during WWII. His story is in ‘We Fought to Win: American WWII Veterans Share Their Stories.’
  • Army veteran who served in the Battle of the Bulge
  • Pilot who flew bombers in Europe
Bart Corricelli served with Company C, 4th Tank Battalion, 4th Marine Division at Iwo Jima. His story is in ‘We Gave Our Best: American WWII Veterans Tell Their Stories’.
  • Marine who fought at Iwo Jima in February 1945.

… and more!

You can read about all of these people in my books, at my blog (use the spy glass to search names, branches of service, specific battles, etc) and through my free newsletter – send me your email to sign up. I never sell email addresses to others.

These are great educational resources for homeschoolers and those interested in history.

After listening to these fascinating stories from American World War II veterans, please leave a comment about something you learned about World War II.

I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I’m doing this Youtube Channel to help boost our patriotism. We live in a great country and we can’t forget that!

Thanks to all veterans and your families for your service to our country.
