The 4th of July is Independence Day in the United States.
This is the day we celebrate the movement of liberating ourselves from British authority.
While I enjoy learning about England, I appreciate the move of our founding fathers to have us govern ourselves.

It was a bold move – to create a new document of government like never before seen in the world.
I’m doing my best to live as a free person in a free country – I pay my taxes, put my hand over my heart while singing the national anthem, and respect our laws and lawmakers, even though I don’t agree with some of them.

This is part of being an American. Not tearing down the nation where I’ve chosen to live, but to build it up through my words, actions and life. In fact, I love the American flag so much that it is on the covers of most of my military books.
I also pray for our country’s freedoms and decisions. We could be one generation away from losing our freedoms. I don’t want to see that happen.
What are you doing to help preserve our nation’s freedoms?
God bless America!
Thanks for your support. 🙂
