Join the Bluffton Christian Writing Club!

Some books with my stories included

If you’ve always wanted to be a published writer and live in Wells, Adams, Allen or Huntington counties of Indiana (you’re welcome to come from further away), you may want to consider joining the Bluffton Christian Writing Club.

We meet the second Monday night of each month year-round at River Terrace Estates on the north side of Bluffton. River Terrace Estates is located on State Road 116 West about 3 miles outside of Bluffton. We meet in the library inside the front doors.

My stories have been published in 4 Chicken Soup books including this one.

The meetings begin at 6:30 and usually end at 8:30. There is no cost.

We call it a Christian group because we pray before the meetings begin and do not promote writings with profanity, heavy violence,  or sexual references.

My friend Brady Hunt loves reading my Greek gods books. I've published 9 children's books.

Last month the eight attendees, including 3 visitors, shared writing news, read passages of works in progress, offered suggestions and encouragement or just sat and listened. People participate as they feel led to do so. No one is pressured to read something they have written. We’ve found a variety of view points helps strengthen our works of writing.

Rhonda Maller and I co-founded the group in 2009 and lead it. I’m excited about the amount of interaction among members. We all have much to learn about writing and just being together can be one of the best means of sticking with it. Never give up!

If you have questions, you may bring them to the club meetings or email me at xxxkjreusser@adamswells.comxxx (remove the xxx’s). We’ll hope to see you there!

I don’t have any photos (yet) of our group. Until then, these photos of my books can demonstrate what is possible with writing!
